Dear Friend,
My last essay was, "Christian Maturity." My next one should be, "The Cardinal Characteristic of a mature Christian." But I need your help. Would you please submit what you regard as a leading Christian virtue--a distinguishing characteristic of a a mature Christian. I will list some of your submissions in my next essay, along with my own determination. Please don't send a list of virtues that any Christian might display, but give me one or two traits that are truly distinguishing--perhaps ones that you would most like to possess.

The Purpose of The True Believer
A True Believer is a person who truly believes what he disseminates, whether it is true or false; a Christian true believer truly believes and disseminates the truth. He is guided by Jesus who said, “You will know the truth and the truth will make you free” (John 8:32) and, speaking to the Father He said, “Your word is truth” (John 17:17).
Through "The True Believer," I intend to disseminate and defend the truth as it is revealed in the Bible. I ask all of you true believers to join me, or rather, allow me to join you, in this godly venture. Here, I will post my weekly essays, along with whatever else develops in my searching mind. I am excited about the prospect of thoughtful and fruitful response.
